Robins want to keep quartet

Swindon have offered deals to four out-of-contract players as Paolo Di Canio settles into life at the County Ground.
The Robins have already seen David Prutton and Michael Rose leave for pastures new this week but they are keen to avoid the same happening to Lescinal Jean-Francois, Nathan Thompson, Michael Timlin and Mark Scott and have offered them all one-year contracts. "They have 14 days to confirm the terms they've been offered are acceptable or not," chief executive Nick Watkins told BBC Wiltshire. "By offering contracts to Nathan and Mark it is indicative of the club's desire to see these young players developed, nurtured and taken to the next stage of their progression. "There are other players out of contract and we will make a statement regarding those players in the ensuing days."
