Goalkeeper Ashley Bayes has decided to leave Stevenage in order to concentrate on his coaching career.

The 39-year-old, whose last appearance for the club was in April 2010, had reached the end of his contract. Signed from Crawley in 2008, Bayes made just 11 appearances for Stevenage. After beginning his career at Brentford, Bayes went on to play 530 games during a 21-year career at clubs including Torquay, Exeter and Grays.
