Pugh quits Shakers role

Bury head of youth Daral Pugh has resigned from his post due to "unforeseen personal circumstances".

Pugh was only appointed to the position at the start of the month and has been replaced by centre of excellence manager Alan Moore. A club statement said: "Daral Pugh has unfortunately taken the decision to resign from his new role at Gigg Lane due to unforeseen personal circumstances. "The club have reluctantly accepted his resignation and have moved quickly in appointing Alan Moore to head of youth. "The community trust are now working to appoint a new centre of excellence manager as soon as possible."
