Brentford trialist Ben Gill has been told he will not be offered a contract at Griffin Park this summer.
The 23-year-old defender or midfielder, who began his career in Arsenal's youth set-up, will have to look into his alternatives after boss Uwe Rosler decided against taking his interest any further. Gill revealed last week that he had options in the USA and Canada and may now look to cross the Atlantic in search of opportunities. Rosler told the Hounslow Chronicle: "There are certain areas where we are looking to bring in two players, so at the moment I can't offer him a contract. "I have to be fair on Ben - he has to know where his future lies. His agent said they are exploring other possibilities."
