Pair poised for Iron return

Scunthorpe captain Cliff Byrne and new signing Jordan Robertson are closing in on a return to action following long-term injury.
Central defender Byrne has yet to appear for Alan Knill's side this season due to a back problem, while striker Robertson broke his ankle during a training session shortly after his summer switch from St Johnstone and has yet to make his competitive debut. Knill told the club's official website: "Jordan will get a run out for the reserves. "We're going to try and get him on the pitch for at least 20 minutes. Cliff Byrne will have a full game too. "Both of which will be big plusses as we are still a bit short of numbers."
