Double injury boost for Latics

Injured duo Josh Parker and Djeny Bembo-Leta will step up their recovery when Oldham reserves face Tranmere on Tuesday night.

Both attackers are set to play in the match on Merseyside after enduring frustrating periods on the sidelines. Parker has not featured for Paul Dickov's men since August when he suffered a knee injury in the derby victory over Rochdale. Bembo-Leta dislocated his ankle and suffered ligament damage shortly after making his debut last term and suffered a setback during his first attempted comeback at the end of the season. Goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis, on trial with Latics following his release by Liverpool, will also be looking to impress in the match.
