Brentford defender Leon Legge stepped up his return from injury by starting his first game in two months for the reserves.
The centre-half has made two substitute appearances for the first team since suffering a torn hamstring at the end of August. And Legge got 65 minutes under his belt as the Bees' development squad drew 2-2 with Reading's reserves. He could now be in line for a place in the starting line-up against Charlton this weekend. Winger Sam Wood, who has been told he can go out on loan to get some competitive football, and Samuel Griffiths were on target for the Bees. Trialist Tomi Ameobi, the brother of Newcastle strikers Shola and Sammy, played the full 90 minutes.
