Olly: We're on the right track

Olly Lancashire has called for more of the same from Walsall after they put in a dogged display at Stevenage on the weekend.

The Saddlers, in League One's bottom four, went into the game on the back of only their second win since August in all competitions having seen off Exeter in a hard-fought FA Cup first-round replay on Wednesday. And Dean Smith's side battled their way to a valuable point at Broadhall Way, holding promotion-chasing Boro to a 0-0 draw. Lancashire told the club's official website: "Stevenage is a hard place to come to. They have done well at home this season so to get a goalless draw is a positive result. "We had a tough game on Wednesday and a few of the lads were carrying knocks but we worked hard and put in a shift. I felt we defended well as a unit and deserved to get something out of the game. "We have to do this week in, week out and start to really push forward now."
