Hartlepool United have appointed former Darlington goalkeeper Andy Collett as their new goalkeeping coach.
Pools have moved quickly to fill the void left by predecessor Gary Walsh, who left Victoria Park to team up with Nick Barmby at Hull 24 hours earlier. Collett, 38, started out as a trainee goalkeeper at Middlesbrough and spent five years at Bristol Rovers before finishing his playing career at Darlington. He moved into coaching at Darlington under Dave Penney and then followed the former Quakers boss to Oldham.
