Striker Jimmy Spencer has extended his loan spell at Cheltenham from Huddersfield until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old joined the Robins on an initial six-month deal in the summer and has made a big impact at Whaddon Road, bagging seven goals in 23 appearances. And the frontman was delighted to secure an extension to his stay in Gloucestershire. Spencer told Cheltenham's official website: "I'm really happy to be staying here for the rest of the season. I'm enjoying it and my time here so far has been brilliant. I think I've improved as a player and the strikers around me have helped because they've got the experience at this level. "Cheltenham Town is the best club I have played for in terms of getting games and the football being played. "Huddersfield are getting some good feedback from my time here and I want to keep improving and playing well for Cheltenham."
