Allen sends warning to players

Notts County manager Martin Allen has vowed to shake up his squad after the 3-2 defeat to Oldham on Saturday afternoon.
County were 2-1 ahead after Lee Hughes and Neal Bishop scored either side of Luca Scapuzzi's equaliser. But Filipe Morais grabbed an equaliser before delivering the setpiece which brought Zander Diamond's late winner as Allen's side suffered their fourth straight loss. Allen said: "It might be time to introduce some of our younger players because we can keep talking about errors but, at the end of the day, you have to look at different personnel. "There were a lot of positives to take from this game and some really good performances, but other areas were highlighted that we need to strengthen. "You can put on training sessions, teach people in the classroom and watch DVDs, but mistakes are still happening. We are giving away goals for fun and doing it too cheaply, so ultimately you have to raise question marks. "The conditions were tough and we adapted very well to a wet and muddy game, but individual errors cost us again. These lads have done extremely well to be where they are, but it needs freshening up."
