No tough break for Liddle

Hartlepool midfielder Gary Liddle could be back in contention against Wycombe after X-rays confirmed he hasn't broken his leg.

Pools manager Neale Cooper feared the worst when Liddle was forced out of Saturday's 3-0 home win over Notts County after a heavy second-half challenge from Neal Bishop. But X-rays have confirmed there is no fracture and although Liddle has sustained heavy bruising, Cooper will give him as long as possible to recover and has not ruled him out of Saturday's trip.
