Grof ready for 'massive' game

Goalkeeper David Grof is under no illusions about the importance of Walsall's trip to relegation rivals Yeovil on Saturday.

The Hungarian stopper insists the Saddlers are "buzzing" on the back of a six-match unbeaten run which included a 3-2 victory over high-flying Sheffield United. Grof has kept four clean sheets during that sequence to hold on to the gloves despite the return of fit-again veteran Jimmy Walker, the latest of which coming in last weekend's goalless draw against Hartlepool. And the 22-year-old is aiming to make that five at Huish Park as Walsall look to close the five-point gap between themselves and 15th-placed Yeovil. "Saturday is a massive game," Grof told the club's official website. "Everyone knows we have to keep beating all the teams who are down there with us and Yeovil are no exception. "If we can travel down there and put a repeat performance in like we did against Sheffield United and Hartlepool then I think we've got every chance of beating them. To take seven points out of three very tough fixtures would certainly be a good achievement for us. We're both in good form so it should be a decent game."
