Notts County manager Keith Curle praised his backroom staff following his side's 3-0 win at Leyton Orient on Friday.

The victory left the Magpies two points and one place outside the play-off zone in League One. Goals by Damion Stewart, Jeff Hughes and Lloyd Sam maintained the visitors' hopes of an extended season. "A lot of credit goes, not only to the players but to the coaching staff, Colin Lee, Chris Kiwomya, Colin West and Kevin Pilkington, who spent a lot of time planning ahead of the game," he said. "We didn't do anything on the training pitch until Thursday because we wanted to make sure we had everything ironed out. We had a Plan A and a Plan B and it worked. "We knew that Orient had played Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday and Friday so we knew that the game could be won in the second half and that was when we played our Plan B."
