Simon Grayson held his players to task after Huddersfield's 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth all but ended their automatic promotion chances.
Two goals in the final 18 minutes from Bournemouth pair Scott Malone and Marc Pugh at Dean Court on Monday condemned Huddersfield to a second defeat in four days, leaving them nine points adrift of the top two in League One. Terriers assistant manager Glynn Snodin: "We were all suffering on the bench because we expected a great performance. We did great preparation, but we did not perform. "You get days like these and Bournemouth are a good footballing side. We did not work hard enough off the ball and need to do better in the next four games. "There have been words said in the dressing room. The players are playing for their futures and a place in the next four games. "We apologise to the Huddersfield fans that have travelled a long way in difficult weather conditions."
