Harrison happy with competition

Danny Harrison is relishing the competition for midfield places at Tranmere and believes it can only benefit the club.

The 29-year-old returned to Rovers this summer after being released by Rotherham to find himself competing against captain Jamie Wallace, Max Power and Liam Palmer for central midfield starting berths. Harrison told the club's official website: "Competition is what squads thrive on and what players need to keep themselves going. I've always had to work for my place so that's nothing new. "I'll just go about my business the way I normally do and see where it takes me. I went away from Tranmere to get experience and I've built myself a career. "I've played a good number of games and I've come back with a good bit of experience under my belt that I'm sure I'll be able to add to the squad."
