Leyton Orient have revealed that defender Scott Cuthbert will miss the remainder of the season with a broken metatarsal.

Cuthbert sustained the injury during Saturday's goalless draw at Preston and was duly forced off just after half-time. Having made just two appearances at the start of the season, Cuthbert did not feature again until the start of December but has firmly established himself as a regular ever since, appearing in 23 of the club's last 27 games. Manager Russell Slade told the O's official website: "It's disappointing for us and disappointing for Scott to pick up the injury at this time, particularly as he was starting to recapture his best form."
