Dickov: No wholesale changes

New boss Paul Dickov will give Doncaster's promotion-winning heroes the chance to impress in the Championship.
Dickov, who was installed into the Keepmoat Stadium hotseat on Monday, inherits a side that has just won the League One title and return to the second tier after a year away. While the former Oldham manager has identified transfer targets, he is intending to utilise the squad he has at his disposal. "I am really excited, proud and honoured and I am really looking forward to hitting the ground running," he said of his appointment at the South Yorkshire club. "Every team that I was successful in as a player really had a togetherness about it and seeing Doncaster a lot this year I really do think that is what got them over the line. "Yes, I have got targets and ideas of players who I want to bring in, but those players will have to come in and integrate, there won't be an influx of players coming in at once. "They will have to come in with the same work ethic and desire. I have got targets, a long list of them, but it has to be the right player."
