Brentford midfielder Charlie Adams has joined Skrill Premier side Barnet on loan for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old made his first-team debut as a substitute against Carlisle last season and has been on the bench four times this term. Brentford have inserted a clause to enable them to call him back after 28 days if required. Griffin Park youth boss Ose Aibangee told the club website: "This will be Charlie's first loan move and it will be important for him. "He has played well at Under-21 level and forced himself in to the first-team training group and matchday squads. "Conference football will be a different challenge for him and will help his development. "Barnet are pushing for promotion and Charlie will be playing high-pressure football. He will also get used to training in a different environment. "We will monitor him over the next few months and see how he has progressed when he returns."
