Slade upbeat despite draw

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade was upbeat despite watching Jamie Murphy's second-half goal for Sheffield United seal a 1-1 draw.

Dean Cox fired the visitors ahead during a drab first-half before Murphy's cool finish ensured a much-improved display after the break from Nigel Clough's side did not go unrewarded. Slade, whose team drop to fourth in the table, acknowledged: "I said a week ago it was going to be very difficult to get into the top two. But we'll go into the games we've got left with relish and the same positive attitude that we've shown all season. "I thought we played some excellent football out there against very good opponents. We were the better team for an hour and then let them back into it. "It was a little bit of an individual error that let United back into it and we seem to be getting punished all the time for those at the moment, which is unfortunate. "But, like I say, we'll keep on going. We won't be giving up on anything because that's not in our nature. "And, once again, we've shown that we're a good group out there. I thought Dean took his goal exceptionally well."
