Leyton Orient end stadium dispute

Leyton Orient have settled their dispute with the Premier League over West Ham's move into the Olympic Stadium.

The League One side wanted to share the stadium with the Hammers, who were announced as the anchor tenants last March, and believed the decision to hand West Ham tenancy would have a negative impact on their attendances. But Orient announced on Tuesday afternoon that they have reached a "confidential" agreement. Their official statement read: "The Premier League and Leyton Orient FC are pleased to announce that they have reached settlement of a dispute regarding the future use of the Olympic Stadium on terms which are confidential. "Leyton Orient confirms, however, that it no longer disputes the validity of the Premier League's decision to allow West Ham United to occupy the stadium."
