Chesterfield have completed a deal to sign striker Byron Harrison from Cheltenham for an undisclosed fee.
Harrison has put pen to paper on an 18-month contract with the Spireites after falling out of favour since Paul Buckle's arrival as manager at the League Two club. The 27-year-old has scored seven goals in 27 appearances this season after finding the back of the net 15 times last term - including against Chesterfield. Blues boss Paul Cook told the club's official website: "We have been monitoring Byron closely for some time and we believe he has the necessary attributes to be a valuable addition to our squad." Harrison, previously with AFC Wimbledon and Stevenage, will not be able to make his debut until Saturday when Doncaster visit the Proact Stadium.
