Yeovil are expected to announce the appointment of Paul Sturrock as the club's football operations manager on Thursday.
The Scot left Torquay on Wednesday morning after just four days in an advisory role at Plainmoor. It has been reported Sturrock has been offered a permanent job elsewhere and that role looks to be with the Glovers, currently rock-bottom of League One and edging closer to relegation. The club said in a brief statement on Wednesday: "As speculation mounts regarding the appointment of a new Football Operations Manager the club have announced that a statement regarding this appointment will be made (on Thursday)." Terry Skiverton has been serving as temporary manager since the departure of Gary Johnson in February and it remains to be seen whether there will be a role for him and current acting assistant manager Darren Way in the new set up.
