Dawson heads to Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe have signed midfielder Stephen Dawson following his departure from League One rivals Rochdale.

Dawson becomes the Iron's first new recruit of the summer and he arrives at Glanford Park on a free transfer. The 29-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year contract, with the option of a further year in the club's favour. Dawson spent last season with Dale and made 36 appearances in all competitions for Keith Hill's side.
