League One club Carlisle have signed Bristol City defender Christian Ribeiro on a loan contract until January 2.
The 21-year-old is a product of the Robins' academy system and has made 14 appearances for City, while also spending time on loan at Stockport and Colchester. The right-back has been capped twice by Wales at international level. Carlisle boss Greg Abbott told the club's official website: "We know all about Christian and we think he'll be a good one for us. "We need cover in that area with James Tavernier going back to Newcastle and with Frank (Simek) working his way back to full fitness, and Christian is keen to play. "He wants to show that he's ready to go, he's hungry, and we think he'll fit in with how we like to do things. We're looking forward to working with him."
