Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore has strengthened his defensive options with the loan signing of Blackpool's Danny Coid.

Coid arrives at the Don Valley Stadium on a one month deal after an injury to the Millers only fit right-back Johnny Mullins on Tuesday night. "The formalities have been completed this morning on the transfer and we are very pleased to have Danny on board," said Rotherham chief operating officer Paul Douglas. "He is an experienced defender who has come down from the Premier League and he will provide us with cover for the injured Johnny Mullins." Coid will be in the squad for the League Two clash with Oxford on Saturday.
