Owls swoop to bag Llera on loan

Sheffield Wednesday have completed the signing of Spanish defender Miguel Llera from Blackpool on an emergency loan deal.
The 32-year-old, who will stay with the Owls until January 2012, is set to go straight into the squad for Saturday's home game with Leyton Orient. Llera arrived in English football in the 2008/09 season when he joined MK Dons from Spanish side Hercules. The big centre-half moved to Charlton for the following campaign, where he played alongside current Wednesday midfielder Jose Semedo. Blackpool signed Llera in August and he had a spell on loan at Brentford earlier this term, making 12 appearances for the Bees. Llera is the second player to join Wednesday in as many days following the arrival of defender James Tavernier on loan from Newcastle.
