Barkhuizen fancies extension

On-loan forward Tom Barkhuizen would welcome extending his stay at League Two side Hereford until the end of the season.
Barkhuizen has scored seven goals since arriving at Edgar Street from Blackpool at the end of August but the 18-year-old's deal with the League Two club is set to expire at the beginning of the new year. Following the 1-1 draw at Plymouth on Saturday, in which Barkhuizen scored, he told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "I've told Blackpool that I don't want to come back to sit in the reserves. We've got that big a squad I might not even get in the reserves. "I'll probably ring them and they'll tell me that I've got a meeting with the gaffer at Blackpool and the assistant. They'll listen to what I've got to say and they'll tell me what they think. "I haven't got a clue what is happening at the moment but if it means I'm staying here then I'm happy to stay, keep playing, and try and get us up the table."
