Goalkeeper to stay at Huish Park until 23rd March
Yeovil have announced that Alex McCarthy has extended his loan spell at the club by a further month.
The Reading goalkeeper has been in fine form for the Glovers this season and earned a call-up to the England Under 21 squad earlier in the campaign.
McCarthy will now remain at Huish Park until 23rd March as Yeovil attempt to climb the League One table.
Player manager Terry Skiverton's side sit 13th in the division after Tuesday night's 1-0 win at Walsall.
Yeovil host play-off-chasing MK Dons on Saturday and McCarthy will be expected to face Paul Ince's side.
