Philliskirk wanted more goals

Danny Philliskirk was left bemoaning his finishing despite getting on the scoresheet in Oldham's 2-1 win at Wolves on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old broke the deadlock with his seventh strike of the campaign as the Latics shocked the League One leaders at Molineux. But the striker, who returned to Oldham as a free agent in the summer, was dismayed at only having the one goal to show for his performance. "It was nice to get another goal, but it ought to have been four," he said. "I hit the post and then there were two occasions when I was clean through. "I will punish myself for not taking those chances and go home angry I didn't get a hat-trick. "It was nice to win, though, and to score and contribute to the victory."
