Carlisle appeal Dicker red

Carlisle have appealed midfielder Gary Dicker's dismissal against AFC Wimbledon at the weekend.
Dicker was shown a straight red card by referee Andy Haines in Saturday's 4-4 home draw at Brunton Park for handling Adebayo Akinfenwa's shot in the penalty area. The club said on their official Twitter site: "We can confirm we have submitted an appeal against the red card shown to Gary Dicker on Saturday." Dicker, a free summer signing following his release from Crawley, faces a one-game ban and will miss Saturday's home game against Bury if the club's appeal is unsuccessful.
