Tranmere sign Hull duo

Tranmere have signed Hull pair Calaum Jahraldo-Martin and Will Aimson on loan after losing a couple of players this week.

The League Two strugglers saw striker Armand Gnanduillet recalled by Chesterfield while defender Josh Thompson could miss three months with a hamstring injury. Micky Adams has moved to compensate for those loses by bringing in 21-year-old striker Jahraldo-Martin, who has twice appeared off the bench for Hull's senior team, and 20-year-old centre-back Aimson in until New Year's Day. "Calaum and Will are two talented young players who will add to competition for places and freshen things up," Adams told his club's official website.
