Teenage striker Jordan Ball has signed a one-year deal for Doncaster after impressing in the Rovers youth team last season.
Ball joined the club's centre of excellence in 2008 and has represented Rovers at under-18 level for the past two seasons, scoring 19 goals in 29 appearances. "After all the hard work we have put in over the last couple of seasons, it's a relief for it to have finally paid off," Ball told the club's official website. "To emulate James [Husband] and get into the first team is a target, not just for me but for the rest of the lads too. "Every pre-season I try to return as fit as I can. I think this season I will have to try and come back as strong as possible and I will prepare right for it and hopefully do well."
