Big Taylor blow for Valiants

Port Vale midfielder Rob Taylor is set to be sidelined for between six to eight weeks after tearing his hamstring.

Taylor started for Micky Adams' men against Gillingham on Saturday but had to be substituted in the first half after pulling up with the problem. He is now poised to be sidelined until December after scans revealed the severity of the injury.
