Haldane back again for Vale

Port Vale forward Lewis Haldane has made his comeback from a broken leg with a run-out in the reserves.
Haldane resumed training after an eight-month absence last Friday and managed 45 minutes on Tuesday afternoon as Vale lost 3-0 to Burton at the Pirelli Stadium. The 27-year-old suffered the injury during the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Tranmere at the end of August. Despite his return to action Vale boss Micky Adams insists Haldane, who also spent most of last season sidelined by an infection sparked by an insect bite, will not play for the first team again before the end of the campaign.
