Cheltenham v Stockport preview

Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League Two clash between Cheltenham Town and Stockport County at Whaddon Road.

Cheltenham will be without defender Martin Riley. Riley came off with a hamstring injury in the 4-0 defeat at Stevenage on Saturday and has not recovered in time. Midfielder David Bird, who was playing at right-back at the weekend, also came off after suffering a knock but there is a chance he will be available. On-loan Blackpool defender Ashley Eastham will come into the squad, but fellow loanee Medy Elito is struggling with illness and the winger is rated as doubtful. Centre-back Andy Gallinagh came off the bench at the weekend for his first appearance since a double hernia operation and is in contention once again. Winger Josh Low also featured as a substitute on Saturday after recovering from a thigh problem and will be pushing for a starting role. Stockport caretaker boss Peter Ward is without suspended duo Ryan Doble and Adam Griffin. The duo were sent off during Saturday's 3-2 defeat at relegation rivals Bradford and begin three and one-match bans respectively. Griffin was dismissed for deliberate handball in the 33rd minute and Doble was sent off for elbowing Luke Oliver in the 65th minute. The result was another blow to County's survival hopes but Ward took heart from his side's display at Valley Parade and says they will keep on fighting. He said: "I have nothing but praise for the lads. It was an excellent performance and although we were beaten the players haven't given up. As long as they have that fight in them we have a chance."
