Kaid at the double for Robins

A double from Kaid Mohamed helped Cheltenham Town to a 3-1 League Two win at Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

A brilliant solo run down the middle saw Mohamed outpace Michael Smith and slide his shot past Scott Bevan on 36 minutes. Seven minutes later Luke Summerfield doubled the advantage with a cracking shot, as he latched on to Marlon Pack's corner. And another Pack corner on 48 minutes caught Rovers out again, as Mohammed side-footed home. Lee Brown reduced the arrears with a deflected shot from 25 yards on 65 minutes. But Rovers rarely threatened to get back into the game against a confident Cheltenham side, who remained dangerous on the break. Paul Buckle's new-look home side were booed off by their own supporters, as they had been when defeated 1-0 by Aldershot in their previous match at the Memorial Stadium.
