Hard work pays for Robins

Cheltenham's players do not ease their competitive nature on the training ground, according to striker Jeff Goulding.

The Robins are flying high in League Two this term, and currently occupy second place in the table with just 13 matches remaining of the campaign. The Gloucestershire club's impressive rise into the automatic promotion places, Goulding claims, is down to an intense work ethic which does not apply purely to matchdays. "Everyone is pulling in the same direction," he said. "We have our little spats on the training field and people smash each other but whatever goes on on the football pitch stays there. "We've got a great moral in the team and everyone gets on with each other. "That is a big help and I'm sure it helps the gaffer out as well."
