Jamie Cureton has described the agony of dislocating his shoulder while opening his account for Cheltenham on the opening day.
The experienced 37-year-old striker netted 18 minutes into his debut for the club following his move from Exeter but suffered the injury at the same time - ruling him out for six weeks. "I don't really remember too much after the goal," he told the club's official website. "As I touched it in, it all seemed routine so I put my hand out and all of a sudden, within a split second, I felt something go. I felt the agony all of a sudden so I rolled over and the boys were about to jump on me! "I was hoping it would be a case of popping it back in and carrying on but we couldn't get it back in and the pain was getting worse."
