Flett turns his back on Bantams

Midfielder Alex Flett has left Bradford after agreeing to cancel his contract by mutual consent.
Flett made his one and only appearance for the Bantams in the final match of last season against Crewe, before signing a professional contract with the club two days later. But it seems that the 18-year-old is resigned to the fact that he will struggle to break into the Bradford midfield. Manager Peter Jackson told the club's website: "Alex signed a six-month contract in the summer but unfortunately it just hasn't worked out for him. "We have a lot of competition for places in midfield at the moment and it may be better for his career if he moves to somewhere where he has a greater chance of receiving first team football. "We wish him all the very best for the future."
