Defender Marcel Seip has penned a new deal with Bradford until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old centre-half - who has featured in the Bantams' last 13 successive games - made his debut in October shortly after being released by Plymouth. His three-month contract was due to expire this month and manager Phil Parkinson revealed he was delighted to secure Seip for the rest of the campaign. He told the club's official website: "I'm really pleased that we have managed to finalise a new deal for Marcel this week. "He has been terrific for us since arriving here. We have asked him to play in a number of positions and he has just got on with it, that just shows what a great professional he is. "He has played with total commitment wherever we have asked him to play and he is certainly a good player to have around in our squad."
