Pitch inspection at Gigg Lane

Bury will hold an inspection on Friday to decide whether Saturday's home clash with Chesterfield can go ahead.

The Gigg Lane pitch is currently frozen and the Spireites' visit has been put in doubt. A number of fixtures in the Football League have already fallen victirm to the big freeze.
