Defender Dan Gray will join Macclesfield on loan, while Chesterfield team-mate Scott Boden has had his spell at the Moss Rose extended.
Gray spent the second half of last season at Macclesfield, making 21 appearances and scoring one goal. The 21-year-old will remain with the Silkmen until December 10 and the defender has been given permission to play in the FA Cup. Meanwhile, Boden will now also remain at the Cheshire club until December 10. The striker, 21, has made five appearances for Macclesfield to date and has also been cleared to play in the FA Cup.
