New Rotherham United manager Andy Scott is determined to take a hands-on role at the South Yorkshire club.
The 38-year-old former Brentford manager became Ronnie Moore's permanent successor at Don Valley after signing a three-year deal on Wednesday. Scott is determined to run the club from top to bottom and said: "My role with the chairman and the board has to be frank and honest. I don't want to be the manager of the first team, I want to be the manager of the football club and bring it all together so we are together as one. "I want to be involved in everything - the community, commercially, the new stadium, the youth set-up, the reserves and the first team. I am the focal point of the football club and I want to show everyone what standards should be met. I want to set an example for everyone else."
