Rotherham have parted company with Ian Thomas-Moore, according to the veteran striker.

Thomas-Moore, 34, only joined the club in January from Tranmere when he was signed by his dad Ronnie Moore. He struggled to break into the side in his favoured position at Don Valley and made just 12 appearances, with his only goals the hat-trick he scored in the 6-0 romping of Lincoln - ironically the first game after Moore's sacking. With the Millers adding Gareth Evans and Chris Holroyd to their attacking line-up this summer, Thomas-Moore and manager Andy Scott have agreed to part ways. He took to social networking site Twitter to say: "Would like to thank rufc fans for support last season but parted company by mutual consent today, enjoyed my short period at the dvs."
