Warrington gets chance to shine

Rotherham boss Steve Evans will give goalkeeper Andy Warrington the chance to prove his worth against Morecambe on Saturday.

The 35-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, has only made seven appearances this season after being frozen out by former boss Andy Scott. But Evans has stated he will give Warrington a run out in the remaining three games of this season, starting with this weekend's visit from the Shrimps. "Andy Warrington will start on Saturday because we have to give him an opportunity to show he deserves to be here," Evans said. "I think he is a top-class goalkeeper. I can't assess him playing reserve-team football, I have to assess him playing first-team football."
