Rotherham goalkeeper Jamie Annerson has left the club by mutual consent ahead of the upcoming season.
The 24-year-old was transfer-listed by the Millers earlier this summer, having not played for the first team last season, partly due to a knee injury. "It was important for the young man to get some football under his belt and we felt that allowing him to leave would be the best way to give him that opportunity," manager Steve told the club's official website. "We would all like to wish Jamie all the best for the future." Annerson joined the Millers in 2007 initially on loan and signed permanently in 2009. He played 13 games for the club in all competitions.
