Nicky on the Hunt for new club

Nicky Hunt has admitted he would be willing to consider a move abroad after being put on the transfer list by Rotherham.
Hunt still has a year of his contract to run with the Millers but manager Steve Evans has informed the 29-year-old defender he does not figure in his plans for the new campaign. The former Bolton man spent the second half of last season on loan at Accrington, starting 11 League Two games. However, Hunt admits the future is now uncertain. And while he would prefer to remain in England, a move overseas cannot be ruled out. "I just want to play football," he said. "A lot of thought goes into decisions like this because it is life-changing. "I might end up three hours away, or it could be half an hour and nothing much changes. "We have a little girl and I have a lot of family close to me so a lot of factors come into it. "But you never know. I might get a telephone call with an offer from Australia, USA, Cyprus, Greece, anywhere. "I can't afford to rule anything out at this stage."
