Wycombe have unveiled Wycombe Air Park at Booker as their preferred site for a new stadium.

The League Two outfit hope to build a new 17,500-20,000 seater ground just outside High Wycombe. Wanderers hope to develop a sports village at the site in conjunction with Aviva Premiership outfit Wasps. Steve Hayes, owner of Wycombe and Wasps, said: "We want to move forwards. "Investing in a new community stadium and sports village means that the clubs can develop their playing and non-playing sides." Meanwhile, Wycombe and Wasps have named Chris Thomas as their new chief executive. Thomas, who has filled the role on an interim basis since April, is a chartered accountant with over 20 years experience in the financial services sector. "These are exciting times as both clubs build sides that I'm confident will be successful," said Thomas.
