Gulls chief signs up rookies

Torquay first-year professionals Ashley Yeoman and Ed Palmer have signed contract extensions until the summer of 2011.

Striker Yeoman, 18, has made one first-team appearance since joining the Gulls in the summer of 2008 as a substitute in the Conference match against Oxford during the 2008/09 season. Defender Palmer, 19, has captained the youth team at Plainmoor but has yet to appear in the first team.
